Echoes is a Houston-based Pink Floyd tribute band dedicated to reproducing live, faithful renditions of full Pink Floyd albums cover-to-cover. The full albums in the band’s repertoire as of April 2009 include: Meddle (which, of course, includes the song Echoes), Animals, Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon. For those faithful enough to stay until then end, we also close with the song Comfortably Numb from The Wall. We’ll probably learn a few favorites from The Wall next but feel free to visit the line-in page and let us know what you would like to hear from the band.

Echoes is excited to have recently added three wonderful new singers to the band: Kim Smith, who has performed with The Black Crowes among many others, (be sure to check out her rockin’ web page), Kimberly Price, and Michelle Medhus. These ladies provide excellent harmonies and make it possible to perform Dark Side of the Moon with its numerous vocal parts.

Houston Music News Volume 27 Issue 8

Last year Echoes played at the Bad to Da Bone Biker Rally in Point Blank, Texas where they opened for Quicksilver Messenger Service and Jefferson Starship. Echoes performed the entire Wish You Were Here album and the show went really well. The band had a great time hanging with the wonderful hosts of the rally. Echoes has also been part of many tribute band shows, a trend that is likely to continue.
